SVS Windy Wind Driven Turbo Ventilators

A well designed turbine ventilator, like the SVS Windy, takes advantage of the wind to create a positive flow through the throat of the ventilator.

The wind influences the performance of the ventilator in two ways:
  1. Low pressure zone created on the leeward side of the ventilator, because of the striking winds, thus extracting air from the building.
  2. The centripetal force associated with the rotation flings air outwards from the tips of the vanes. Thus fresh air is drawn into the building.
Windy® turbines promote:
  • Healthy living
  • Increase in productivity
  • Reduction in maintenance of plant & machinery by reducing humidity levels
  • Increased life of roofing sheets
  • Use of renewable source of wind energy
  • Achievement of environmental standards
